What is the difference between Champions for Life and Answers for Life?
Answers for Life Pregnancy Center is a Christian, pro-life ministry serving women and families in Tucson. Champions for Life is its community of supporters, the volunteers, donors and prayer partners who make that work possible. Women seeking services can visit afltucson.com.
When was Answers for Life founded?
Answers for Life was founded in 2013 by Everly Rens-Kirby, Kathy Shechter and Kathy Arizmendi with $1,000 in seed money. Within eight months it bought its own building, and it added the Life Resource Center the following year. Today it operates three centers in Tucson.
Is Answers for Life a faith-based organization?
Yes. Answers for Life is a Christian ministry dedicated to saving lives and transforming hearts. It welcomes every woman with compassion and without judgment, whatever her beliefs.
What is a Champion for Life?
A Champion for Life is anyone who supports Answers for Life’s mission by volunteering, praying, attending events or giving monthly. Champions are the backbone of the ministry.

Yes. Every service at Answers for Life is free. The gifts of Champions for Life keep them that way.
Who can receive help at Answers for Life?
Any woman facing an unexpected pregnancy is welcome, along with her family and the baby’s father. Our team offers a safe, non-judgmental place to talk, get complete information and find support.
Do I need an appointment?

- Central Center: Monday 1:00–7:00 pm, Tuesday 11:00 am–5:00 pm, Thursday 11:00 am–5:00 pm

- Southside Center: Monday 1:30–7:30 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am–4:00 pm

Life Resource Center
What is the Life Resource Center?
The Life Resource Center provides diapers, baby clothes, baby supplies and maternity wear to Answers for Life clients. Clients earn credit toward these items by completing parenting courses.
What items does the Life Resource Center need?
Diapers, wipes, baby clothes and new items for moms and babies are always needed. See the Cindi’s Closet needs list on our Life Resource Center page, or call (520) 308-8990 to arrange a drop-off.
Giving
How can I donate to Answers for Life?
You can give a one-time or monthly gift online on our Ways to Give page. Every gift helps keep pregnancy care free for women and families in Tucson.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Answers for Life Pregnancy Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 46-3601678). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Can I support Answers for Life without giving money?
Yes. You can link your Fry’s card to Fry’s Community Rewards, host a baby shower, diaper drive or baby bottle fundraiser, hold a yard sale or ice cream social, volunteer, or join the prayer team. See More Ways to Give for ideas.
How do I support Answers for Life through Fry’s Community Rewards?

Volunteering and Prayer
How can I volunteer with Answers for Life?
Volunteers serve clients, help in our offices and work in the Life Resource Center. Call (520) 308-8990 to get started.
Do I need experience to volunteer?
No. Training is provided for every volunteer.
How does the prayer team work?
Prayer team members receive daily and weekly prayer needs by email and pray for the women, families and staff of Answers for Life.
How do I join the prayer team?

What does a church liaison do?
A church liaison keeps their congregation connected to Answers for Life by sharing current needs, events and prayer requests, and helps coordinate church drives and support.
